On February 13, 2005 a beautiful young woman came into AngelGirl: A Rug Hooking Studio. She was thrilled to have found a rug hooking studio as her mother Dee was a rug hooker and Sarah remembers coming home and watching her mom hook. Sarah's mother Dee was hooking her own design, the "family homestead" in North Dakota when she lost her second battle with cancer at the age of 57.

Sarah asked if I would finish the rug and I humbly replied, "Yes." I then went on to explain that the shop AngelGirl was named after my deceased mother.

I finished the rug; it was created with humbleness as I kept hoping that Dee would direct my color choices and design variances.

Sarah was presented with the rug on Mother's Day 2005 by her loving husband. It is now on the floor of the baby's room.
